ABOUT THE KITCHEN TEAMS
ZEIK – Maurizio Oster
Maurizio Oster was born in Hamburg and has deep roots in North German cuisine. In 2018, he opened his Michelin-starred restaurant, ZEIK, in Winterhude, where he reinterprets familiar ingredients to create intense, surprising flavours – simple, seasonal and imbued with the spirit of North Germany. For this four-hands dinner, he is stepping out of his own kitchen to prepare one of Jing Jing’s signature dishes.
Jing Jing – Vena Steinkönig & Valentin Broer
Vena Steinkönig and Valentin Broer have long since achieved cult status with ‘Momo Ramen’ and are now taking things a step further at ‘Jing Jing’ with modern Thai cuisine and their own cocktail menu. Their cuisine is characterised by authentic street food with bold flavours that combine sweetness, heat and umami. At this four-hands dinner, they swap roles and reinterpret a signature dish by Maurizio Oster.
