What can you expect? A chance to have a natter and enjoy a creative four-course meal with local food producers – eat your way to knowledge! We’ll learn new things about the people, products and solutions from the region. We’ll discuss, listen and ask questions. In between, we’ll take two culinary breaks to enjoy the food together. The event will be hosted by journalist Dorothea Heintze, and NDR chef and Hobenköök head chef Thomas Sampl will also be joining us.
About the producers:

1001 Gewürze – A rocket-fuelled rise to becoming a favourite in the restaurant world
The story of 1001 Gewürze is both fascinating and incredible: what began with a request for a recipe from *Brigitte* magazine led to the first online shop, then to Michelin-starred restaurants, and finally to its current success. Spices taken to a whole new level, produced in-house.
Theme of the evening:
This concentrated botanical power is a perfect match for this duo: the founders, Esin (from Samova Tee) and Katharina (from 1001 Gewürze), are not only good friends, but their products also complement each other beautifully! What might sound a bit unusual at first – tea and spices – actually goes together brilliantly, even beyond classic spiced teas. This is not least thanks to their exacting standards of quality and sustainability, which are reflected in both ranges, from classic to refreshingly new variations. Things get really interesting when you look at the product ranges designed to complement one another. So, at teatime, you can conjure up some chocolatey, fruity biscuits with spice cookies from 1001 Gewürze and enjoy the perfect tea from samova alongside them. Or, in summer, season your barbecue and sip a Fruity Garden? 😉 So, this evening is all about natural products, organic certification, collaborations and so much more…
