On 29 August 2026, the Gaumen Disco returns to the courtyard of Tranquillo and the Black Delight coffee roastery.
From 12:00 noon until midnight, you can look forward to 20 restaurants, chefs and culinary projects from Hamburg, northern Germany, Copenhagen and Georgia – including two Michelin-starred restaurants.
The idea behind the Gaumen Disco is simple: in a single day, you can discover a wide variety of cuisines, get to know new restaurants and sample dishes that you’d otherwise have to travel all the way across Hamburg – or even as far as Copenhagen – to try.
YOU CAN ALREADY LOOK FORWARD TO THIS

Restaurant Jellyfish serves flambéed scallops with dashi butter, spring onions and chilli oil.
At Koer Kulinarik&Bar, you can enjoy tomato and sea bass ceviche with crispy chickpeas, mole and coriander.
Reichlich serves cheese spaetzle with yeast butter and Tyrolean mountain cheese.
Two Alphas Restaurant offers salmon sashimi with ponzu, brown butter, chives and tobiko – and homemade pistachio egg liqueur in a waffle cup.
FEU FOU serves a croque monsieur with cheese, ham and herb butter.
Supersuess Café serves chicken satay with creamy peanut sauce and a fresh cucumber, pineapple and onion salad. This is accompanied by Thai iced tea.
At BATU Noodlesociety, you can get Ibérico meatballs with coleslaw and pickles.
XiYO noodle serves a variety of dumplings and wontons – including those with beef and prawns, as well as a vegetarian option with shiitake mushrooms, glass noodles and Chinese cabbage.
Zero Neuf Dining serves Japanese beef and potato croquettes with tonkatsu mayonnaise.
At Speis & Trank, Onur serves his signature kimchi döner with Kikok chicken, kimchi, dürüm bread, fresh herbs and gochujang-tahini sauce.
Generously prepared.
Spezzagrano provides a sweet finish with no fewer than three desserts: basil sorbet with lemon and olive oil, a creamy mascarpone and cream dessert with espresso and salted caramel ice cream, and panettone with raisins, orange, pistachios, white and dark chocolate.
And that’s just part of the menu.
