Genuss-Michel ChampionsDinner 2026

In an exclusive setting, the winners of northern Germany’s most prestigious gastronomy award come together to create a menu composed especially for this evening.

Several courses, a variety of culinary styles and speciality dishes come together to create a culinary journey through Hamburg’s finest restaurants. Carefully selected wines accompany the menu and round off the evening. This is the Genuss-Michel ChampionsDinner.

Guests get to experience these culinary artists in more ways than just on their plates: personal insights, stories about the dishes and encounters with the people behind these award-winning restaurants make the ChampionsDinner a special evening for anyone who appreciates exceptional cuisine.

FEATURING:

Fischereihafen Restaurant (Restaurant of the Year 2026)

A prime location right on the banks of the Elbe. A tradition that has become the stuff of legend. And a team that lovingly serves up the very best that the river, the sea and the pastures have to offer. Because here, it’s not just about cod and shellfish – even if the name might suggest otherwise. Alongside brilliant bouillabaisse, delicious lobster and North German classics such as Labskaus, you can also enjoy steak or schnitzel – and vegan options too. So that the whole family is happy.

Jing Jing (Restaurant of the Year 2025)

An unassuming back courtyard near the Schulterblatt. A black hall. The heavy door. A curtain opens. And then: Wow! Colours. Brilliant lighting. Fragrance. Atmosphere. From one second to the next: not Hamburg, but somewhere in Thailand. Anyone who steps into this restaurant gets a real sensory experience even before they’ve eaten. And hopefully, one of the sensational drinks on offer will soon be sitting in front of them. After all, Jing Jing has already won the Mixology Award twice in a row for its bar alone.

Koer (Best Newcomer 2024)

Situated between the Alster and the Leinpfad Canal, Koer offers a relaxed fine-dining experience: chic but not stuffy, ambitious but without any fuss. Ever since Paul Decker and Joshua Stagraczynski opened the restaurant in 2023, the concept has been characterised by seasonal produce, regional suppliers and modern, creative cuisine. In 2024, Koer was named Best Newcomer at the Genuss-Michel awards, followed in 2025 by its first Michelin star, which the team successfully retained in 2026.

Nil (Restaurant of the Year 2024)

The Nil in a nutshell? A phenomenon. A beacon of sophisticated yet down-to-earth hospitality. A place of warmth, indulgence and fine cuisine. Stunning dishes and a unique, cosy atmosphere delight diners at this restaurant on Pferdemarkt, which has been in business for over 30 years. What’s more, the Nil also impresses with its sensational value for money. A perennial favourite! Because quality speaks for itself! Even our jury, who have named the Nil ‘Restaurant of the Year 2024’.
