What is the Open Mouth Food Festival?
For five days, the decentralized food festival Open Mouth in Hamburg is all about good food. From Franzbrötchen and Labskaus to innovations from Hamburg's foodie scene: the new festival aims to highlight the diversity of the Hanseatic city's gastronomic offerings and the products of regional producers. There will also be a special focus on the further development of regional solutions to the global challenges facing the food system.
When and where does the festival take place?
The festival will take place decentrally in Hamburg from 12.09.2024 to 16.09.2024.
What is happening in the Oberhafen?
The Oberhafen is considered a suitable location for our Open Mouth. We are planning to create a central contact point for visitors there, which will enable a relaxed get-together.

How do I buy tickets?
We are barrier-free, but some events organized by our partners have an entrance fee.
Are there parking facilities?
Please come to the Oberhfaen by bike, on foot or by public transport.

The festival takes place in all weathers. There are covered areas and tents to protect visitors from the rain. We recommend that you bring clothing suitable for the weather.

What happens if I eat too much?
Don't worry, we have a special "Food Coma" lounge for anyone who needs a food break.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Of course! But only if your dog promises not to steal the hot dogs.
