Eating is a basic need. At the same time, the importance of good nutrition is often lost in the stress of everyday life! Yet food is much more than just nourishment: it is enjoyment, culture and togetherness. What we eat also has a major impact on our own health and the world around us. A balanced, regional and sustainable diet is a prerequisite for individual well-being and the well-being of our planet!

What does Hamburg eat? How can the food revolution succeed? What trends and innovations will shape the food industry of tomorrow? And what must politicians do to ensure a sustainable food industry? Dominik Lorenzen, parliamentary group leader of the Green Party parliamentary group in Hamburg, and Andrea Nunne, food policy spokesperson for the Green Party parliamentary group in Hamburg, will be talking to two real experts on good food at the Open Mouth Food Festival 2024: Cornelia Poletto, top chef and restaurateur, and Claudia Hunecke, agricultural economist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.
